Course Management System

This is a full-stack Course Management System (CMS) built for Bahir Dar University's Electrical and Computer Faculty. The system streamlines academic administration through modern web technologies.

Installation Guide

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/bdu-electrical/cms.git
    cd cms
    

Backend Setup

composer install
cp .env.example .env
php artisan key:generate

Database Configuration

mysql -u root -p
CREATE DATABASE bdu_cms;

Update .env

DB_DATABASE=bdu_cms
DB_USERNAME=root
DB_PASSWORD=yourpassword

Frontend Setup

npm install
npm run dev

Run the application

php artisan serve
